Medley Skills Focus
You may not be interested in developing all strokes, so choose which ones you want to develop, and get to work! Medley training and varying up the strokes is fantastic for fitness, versatility and to prevent you from getting bored when you complete your regular swims! Check out the drills for some more variation and to work on your weaknesses, too.
Workout 3
Speed & Power Focus
Swimming fast isn't just about getting in there and "spinning your wheels". This means swimming fast without catch nor holding any water.
Therefore, when sprinting, it is critical to also employ sound technique.
When you are performing these fast efforts, they can be performed using any stroke of your choosing, just make sure you go fast and hold plenty of water in the process!
